The Blissful Revolution Arts
and Crafts Bazaar
Founded in summer of 2004 as a venue for local artists and
crafters to showcase their work, network with other artists/crafters
and to meet the public in a friendly productive atmosphere,
the Bazaar features an eclectic mix of indivdual styles supporting
the creative process and making art accessible and affordable.
St Lawrence Arts and Community Center
(76 Congress St. Portland, ME www.stlawrencearts.org)
provides the Bazaar with a “home base”and the
opportunity to expand the Bazaar’s mission and to help
support a local landmark that is a community arts and outreach
center. Working with the St Lawrence provides the artists/crafters
instant recognition in excellence. Also the St Lawrence helps
to keep costs low making this venue affordable to all artists
and crafters.
Biddeford's Northdam Mill Complex
Now the Blissful Revolution has expanded it's holiday show to Biddeford's Northdam Mill Complex (2 Maine St. Biddeford, Me, 04005) The use of this impressive space from the past to help in the progress of the arts in the future is a bounty for the artists, crafters, and the community of southern Maine.
The Blissful Revolution Arts and Crafts
Bazaar is growing. New ideas and forms are
constantly developing and no two bazaars are the same.
Change is good, shaking things up is even better…
